The Researcher lets you analyze a person’s recent social activity — posts, comments, and reactions — and generate AI-powered insights about their interests, priorities, and buying signals. Results appear in two tabs: Activity and Insights.

Run research on a person

From any person record, click Run research and choose a time range:
Time RangeWhat you get
1 weekRecent activity snapshot
1 monthShort-term trends and interests
3 monthsMedium-term patterns
6 monthsComprehensive activity history
Longer time ranges analyze more content and consume more research credits. You can also choose whether to include AI-generated insights. Running with AI costs more credits but produces organization-level insights in the Insights tab.

Activity tab

The Activity tab shows all research runs grouped by person. Each entry displays:
  • Person info — name, job title, and company
  • Status — where the research run stands
  • Timestamp — when the run was triggered

Research run statuses

StatusMeaning
PendingQueued and waiting to start
In ProgressCurrently analyzing activity
CompletedFinished successfully
Partially CompletedFinished with some data missing
FailedCould not complete the research

Trigger types

Each run shows how it was triggered:
  • Research — you manually ran research on the person
  • Insight Generation — AI insights were generated from the research
  • Tracked Account — automatically researched via a tracked account
When a person has multiple runs, click to expand and see the full history.

Insights tab

The Insights tab shows AI-generated insights grouped by company. Each insight includes:
  • Title and description — a summary of what was discovered
  • Category — the type of insight (color-coded)
  • Person — who the insight relates to
  • Sources — the signals that contributed to the insight

View insight details

Click any insight card to open the detail panel, which shows:
  • The full insight context (rendered as markdown)
  • An Evidence section listing every source signal, including the original content (posts, comments) and who was involved

Person details panel

Click a person’s name in either tab to open the details panel. The panel has four tabs:
  • Overview — company details, AI tags, and signal summary
  • Signals — all detected signals grouped by category
  • AI Insights — insights specific to this person with source signals
  • Research — full history of research runs for this person
From the Research tab, you can trigger a new research run directly.

Interpret research results

Research results surface patterns you can act on:
  • Content themes — topics a person consistently engages with
  • Engagement patterns — who and what they interact with most
  • Buying signals — indicators of interest in products or services like yours
  • Company-level trends — when multiple people from the same company show similar activity, insights are grouped together
Use the Insights tab for strategic, company-level intelligence. Use the Activity tab to monitor individual research status and drill into specific people.
