Control who has access to your Clearcue organization and what they can do. Navigate to Settings > Members to manage your team.

Roles

Every member has one of three roles. Roles determine what actions a member can take within the organization.
RoleWhat they can do
OwnerFull control. Can manage all members, assign any role, and access all settings. Cannot be revoked or modified by others.
AdminCan invite members, change Member roles, and revoke Member access. Cannot modify Owners or other Admins.
MemberCan use Clearcue features (signals, lists, audiences) but cannot manage other members or access admin settings.
Every organization has at least one Owner. Owner access cannot be revoked.

Invite members

Owners and Admins can invite new members by email.
  1. Go to Settings > Members.
  2. Click Invite in the top right.
  3. Enter one or more email addresses (separated by commas, spaces, or Enter).
  4. Click Send Invites.
Each invited person receives an email with a link to join. Until they accept, they appear in the members list with a Pending badge.
Invitations expire after 24 hours.
If an invite expires, you can resend it from the menu next to the member — select Resend invite to send a new email with a fresh 24-hour expiration.

Search members

Use the search bar at the top of the Members page to filter by email or role. This works across both active members and pending invites.

Change a member’s role

  1. Find the member in the Members table.
  2. Click their role badge to open the role selector.
  3. Choose the new role and confirm.
Restrictions:
  • You cannot change your own role.
  • Admins can only assign the Admin or Member role — not Owner.
  • Admins cannot change an Owner’s role.

Revoke access

Remove a member’s access to your organization without deleting their account.
  1. Click the menu next to the member.
  2. Select Revoke access and confirm.
The member immediately loses access. They appear in the Revoked Users section at the bottom of the page. Restrictions:
  • You cannot revoke your own access.
  • Owner access cannot be revoked.
  • Admins cannot revoke another Admin’s access.

Restore a revoked member

Bring back a previously revoked member with their original role.
  1. Scroll to the Revoked Users section at the bottom of the Members page.
  2. Click Restore access next to the member you want to reinstate.
  3. Confirm the restoration.
The member regains access immediately with their previous role.
Only Owners and Admins can see and manage revoked members.
