Insight types are categories that Clearcue’s AI uses to tag and classify activity on your contacts. Customise them to match the signals that matter most to your business.

Manage insight types

Go to Settings > Insights to see all your insight types. The table shows each insight type’s name, color-coding, and explanation.

Add an insight type

Click Add new

Click the Add new button in the top-right corner.

Enter a name

Give the insight type a clear name, such as “Product Interest” or “Buying Intent”.

Add a description (optional)

Describe what this insight type means to guide the AI. For example: “Flag when a person expresses readiness to purchase, compares pricing, or requests product details.”

Choose a color

Pick a color from the palette for visual coding in your records.

Click Add

The new insight type appears in the table and Clearcue’s AI starts using it immediately.

Edit or delete an insight type

Click the three-dot menu on any row to Edit or Delete the insight type.
  • Edit opens the same dialog where you can update the name, description, and color.
  • Delete shows a confirmation before removing the insight type permanently.
